Kilve Beach Family Explorer


Want something different to do with the kids during the school holidays?

Come and join staff and volunteers from the Quantock Hills National Landscape from 10.30am until 3.30pm for a free activity filled day for the family at the beautiful Kilve Beach. There will be various family activities to get involved with throughout the day from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Many events are free and there is no need to book just come along on the day and join in…

Dogs are allowed on leads during the day, but no dogs please on the guided walks.

Our Quantock Hills Rangers will be around to guide you with some rock pooling, seaweed searching, fossil hunting and even beach cleaning if you’d like to do your bit!

Why not bring a picnic and make a day of it, with lots of fun activities and exploration on this beautiful bit of Jurassic coastline.

There will be 2 guided Beach Safari Fossil walks during the day with Ecologists from Geckoella for a small fee, booking is required for these walks via the separate links on our website.
